The Westin Virginia Beach Town Center
& Residences stands 508 feet and 38 stories high. The postmodern
skyscraper, designed by Brennan Beer Gorman Monk Architects, is located at 4535
Commerce Street in Virginia Beach. It was constructed in 2007 and surpassed
the James Monroe Building as the tallest tower in the state. The building has a
concrete structure and a curtain wall façade.
The lower portion of the tower is a four star hotel, and the
upper portion contains 199 condominiums which range in size from 900 to 4000
square feet.
I ran the stairs of this building in September 2013 and you can read about it here.
