Getting Serious

I will be headed to Montana for most of next week for work and I plan to stop in Billings to climb the First Interstate Center so I can check Montana off my list. Then the following week my wife and I will be taking an overnight vacation to Las Vegas to climb the Stratosphere in the Scale the Strat Race/Fundraiser for the American Lung Association.

It is time to get serious. Today I took the whole family to the Nike store in Lehi Utah and purchased some gear. In keeping with my theme of having orange on my gear to remind me of Whitney I purchased these awesome Nike Lunarfly+ 3 (Google Affiliate Ad)
These shoes were on sale and also came with this sweet feature of having a little spot built into the shoe for the Nike + sensor to send workout information to my iPhone. I ran 2.25 miles on the treadmill and my iPhone 5 had the data in there. It was .04 off of how far the treadmill said I ran but still pretty amazing.

Time to get serious about training and eating healthy so I can run a respectable time in Vegas.
