Tallest Building in Hawaii Stair run

February 7th, 2017

FINALLY crossed Hawaii off my list! Not an easy one to travel to. This was our last day of the Hawaiian adventure there to film some YouTube videos.

The building is the First Hawaiian Center 131 meters tall. Getting into this building is not hard, the tricky part is actually finding the stairwell. It is not accessible  on the 1st level. Fortunately there is a free museum on the 2nd floor along with bank offices. I followed the exit sign on in the office area, no one seemed to care or notice. I entered the stairwell and was ready to rock.

The interesting thing about this building is half of it has windows with a beautiful view. Never seen that before! Made it to the 30th floor, caught my breath and then headed back down. Tricky part about this building is it is locked from the inside and to exit the lower level would set off the alarm system.

Luckily I had my friends close by, one phone call gave them directions to come get me.

The experience was documented on this YouTube video:

It has been a long break from Stair climbing and my goal, but, I am ready to get back at it and have some fun completing this adventure. You can follow my progress at our YouTube channel "What's Inside Family"
